PEACE in the MIDDLE EAST
Young Israelis, Jews and Palestinians discuss their future
Chair: Simon Hughes MP
Tuesday 28 June: 7.30pm
(Please arrive no later than 6.45pm to clear security)
Change is sweeping through the Middle East - driven by youth and fed on new ideas. How is this affecting Israel-Palestine, especially the young generation that will be its leaders in twenty years time.
In this final meeting of a series of three, young Palestinians, Israelis and Jews will come together to explore their future visions and aspirations, what changes they long to see in the region during the next twenty years - and crucially how they may jointly achieve those visions.
The APPG on Conflict Issues hopes that by focusing on the rising generation’s vision of the world in which they want to live, fresh thinking might emerge that could help create a future for Israel-Palestine where violent conflict no longer dominates and a sustainable peace can be achieved that serves the needs of everyone in the region.
